ILM Courses and qualifications for individuals and teams
Coach 4 Executives in conjunction with QED Ltd is delighted to offer the new series of qualifications accredited by:
The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
More and more organisations are recognising the importance of developing coaching skills as an essential part of the business success strategy. These ILM awards offer a thorough programme of development and assessment leading to a nationally recognised qualification. They have been designed to support those wishing to update or enhance their coaching skills whilst working either internally and/or externally for organisations.
There are three levels of qualification aimed at a different client group. Each qualification contains one theory module and one practical module.
- Level 3 in Coaching for Team leaders and First Line Managers
- Level 4 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching
The Programme
Candidates follow a programme of agreed learning, development and assessment that allows them to successfully achieve their award.
The programmes contain the following activities:
- Induction and learning materials
- 30 hours of structured group learning for level 3
- 45 hours of structured group learning for levels 4 and 5
- Practical 1-2-1 peer coaching
- 8 hours of coaching from an experienced coach
Assessment
To gain their qualification each candidate must complete the following:
- Write an assignment about coaching marked by ILM
- Produce a coaching ‘diary’ recording their practical experience coaching one or more individuals for a total of at least 12 hours
Online Option
We will shortly be offering a blended learning option whereby Module 1 will be available online. Module 2 will remain face to face training as stipulated by ILM.
